Updates: If you've already published your App on Google Play and need to publish an update, follow the steps ofUpdate an App on Google Play.Soon, Google would require developers to fill out a form on the Play Console to report on the privacy and security practices of their applications. Later, this information would be displayed on the Play Store page to explain to Google Play users before they download your application and share the data.
In this article, you would find an overview of the new requirements, which you must do to complete the form and a timetable for the upcoming events (dates may change).
The form ofData Securityconsists of 5 pages and depending on which functionalities you are using, you will need to select different options.
First Screens:
Step 1:Introduction
Having seen the information on the first screens, we are shown the section ofIntroduction.
Here is a brief explanation of the data collection process and the information to be requested later, it is only necessary to click onNextafter reading it.
Step 2:Data collection and security
This section contains 3 different questions and the answer would be yes to all of them if they were using at least one of the functions mentioned in ourFunctions Box:
If you were not using any of the functionalities mentioned in ourFunctions Box, Select “No†at the first option and the option to complete the form would be available.
In this step we must define the use and handling of the data collected in the , if they are only collected for the final use of the application, or if they are shared with a third party, whether the transfer is made.

Step 5:Preview the Play Store tab.
You would be told here the summary of the options you selected and the collection of data. Review the information to ensure that it matches the behaviour of its application and then pressSave and Send.
Once all the information has been kept, the Google team would review it and send feedback if necessary.
