APPS: Folders

The Folders functionality allows you to group and organize functionality within your application.




How to add this feature

To add this feature to your app go to the "FEATURES" step and click on the "Folder" icon:





Configuration:

When you add the function, a window like this will be displayed with the following options:



  1. Give your folder a name and a subtitle (Optional).
  2. Override Layout: This is a useful setting for subfolders.
  3. You can set a general layout in the "layout" tab, for all subfolders, but if you want to use a specific layout for a subfolder, you can configure it with this setting.
  4. Create a subfolder: To create a Subfolder click the icon 
  5. Change Name or Subtitle: If you want to change the name, subtitle or cover/thumbnail image, just click on the pencil icon:

  6. Folder order or features: To rearrange folders simply drag and drop them, you can nest up to 12 levels.

Add features to your folders:

Note: You will only be able to add previously created functionalities.


Adding a feature to one of your folders is very easy:

  1. Select the folder where you want to add a feature.
  2. Click on the functionality you want to add to this folder



How to edit the added features:


You will notice that once you have added a feature to a folder, this feature will no longer appear in the main feature slider.
To manage the features you have added to some folders, you must open the Folders Feature. Next, select the folder or subfolder where the function you want to modify is located. 
To return to the home page of your application, click this icon 

How to Remove Added Features:


Once you've moved a feature to a folder, you still have the ability to delete it. To do this, click on the Trash:



Customize your folder:

You can customize the appearance of folders and their subfolders with the design tab:


Your folder settings:

In the "Settings" tab, you can add a search bar and "card" layout by having something like this:
