Improving your website typography with custom sources can significantly improve its visual appeal and brand. Divi font loading feature makes it easy to add and use custom fonts, allowing you to create a unique and professional look for your site.
In this article, we will guide you through the process of loading custom sources using Divi's font loading feature.
The first essential step for the system to allow you to upload font files is to go to your Wordpress desktop→ Plugins and activate the Plugin 'WP Add Mime Types'
Once that Plugin is activated, go to Settings→ Meme Type Settings and in the settings of that Plugin, you will have to enter these 2 lines and click Save:
ttf = application/font-ttf
otf = application/font-otf
Once this has been done, you will already be able to upload font files by following the following process:
1. Open the configuration of any text-based module.
2. Go to the Pestana Design → Text → Text source and expand the list.
3. Click the Upload button.
4. Name your custom font a name.
5. Click the Choose Font File button.
6.6.6. Choose your .ttf or .otf font file.
7. (Optional) Choose the supported font weights for the custom font file you are uploading
Once the custom font has been loaded, it will be available to set up globally to Divi → Theme Customer → General Settings → Typography.
In addition, you can also change the overall source from any text-based module using the Edit Global Fonts option.
Steps to change the overall source:
1. Open the configuration of any text-based module.
2. Go to the Pestana Design → Text → Text source and expand the list.
3. Click the Edit Global Fonts button.
4. Expand the Header Source list and choose your custom font or any of the available Google fonts.
