How to Use Integrations and Connect WordPress with Scoreapps

Before you continue: check where your website was created

If the website was created in Scoreapps: do not download or install any plugin. Every website created in Scoreapps is already integrated and ready to be used as a BlogPilot destination.

If the website is an external WordPress site: connect it first from Integrations → WordPress. Download the official connector, install it on that WordPress site, copy the connection key and validate it in Scoreapps.

Integrations connect Scoreapps with external systems. The main customer-facing integration is WordPress: it links blogs so BlogPilot can publish content and prepare SEO/content workflows.

Goal of this guide: connect WordPress correctly, understand what the connection is for and avoid publishing mistakes.

How to connect WordPress

If the website was created in Scoreapps

Do not install the connector. The website is already integrated and should be available as a BlogPilot destination.

If the website is an external WordPress site

  1. Open Integrations from the menu.
  2. Open the WordPress integration.
  3. Click Download ScoreApps Connector.
  4. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, install the ZIP and activate it.
  5. Copy the connection key generated by the plugin.
  6. Return to Scoreapps, add the blog and validate its URL, key and permissions.
  7. Confirm that the blog appears as connected before selecting it in BlogPilot.

What this integration is for

  • BlogPilot can send drafts or posts to the connected WordPress site.
  • Content agents can work with a real publishing destination.
  • It avoids manual copy and paste.
  • It separates websites by client, brand or project.

Official connector and access recovery

  • To connect an external WordPress website, download and install only the official connector available under Integrations.
  • Websites created within Scoreapps are already integrated and do not need to download or install the connector.
  • If you cannot access WordPress, check SSO, WordPress credentials, the recovery email and the site's SMTP separately.
  • If the connector download fails, keep the current configuration and contact support. Do not share passwords or disable security measures such as 2FA.
