APPS: Link / Links



The Links feature allows you to create links, which will open in the app or the device's browser, depending on your preferences.

How to add this feature

To add this feature to your application go to step "FUNCTIONS" and click on the " iconLinks":






Once added you must give this new section of the application a name:




Configuration

Below you will find 3 tabs Links, Settings and Design. 




Next you must complete the following information:



To add a new link, you just have to write the name of your link in “Label” and the url address in “URL”. You can also add an image by clicking Image 256 × 256.

You will find three options:

  1. In the app browser- The link will open in the app. You can choose different display options for Android and iOS.


Android:

- Show site url: Shows the url of the embedded site

- Show a close button similar to iOS: shows close button at bottom

- Use hardware back button to navigate (will depend on device): This option will allow you to use Android's own navigation bar but it only works on some Android devices.

- Remove navigation arrows: Activating this box eliminates the navigation arrows.

- Remove Site URL: Activating this box will hide the site url.

- Enable zoom controls: This option enables the zoom option but only works on some Android devices


iOS:

- Show site url: Activating this box displays the URL of the embedded website in the lower bar.

- Remove navigation arrows: Activating this box eliminates the navigation arrows from the bottom bar


  1. In the hybrid browser- The link will open in the app, but in a custom browser tab on the device (ex: Chrome, Safari, etc.)
  1. In the browser outside the App: The link will open in the device's browser (e.g. Chrome, Safari, etc...).

You can create as many links as you want by pressing the "+" key 

Settings and Design



In the tab Settings, you can enable search to search titles for links you have created. You can change the layout of the page, and To make this page unique, you can insert a cover image.

You can also change the background in the tab Design:
