APPS: Push Notifications


What is needed for sending Push Notifications?

In order to make use of the Push Notifications, the Application in question must be published for the native Android and/or iOS versions.
Once the app has been published on the App Store and/or Google Play, you may send notifications directly from the "Push Notifications" function itself.

In addition to this function

To add this function to your application go to step "Functions" and click on the icon"Push notifications":

1- You must include in the Application the "Push Notifications" function





Once the function is added you must place a name and icon on it.to this new application section.

To change the icon, hover your cursor over the icon and the one-line icon would be displayed. Click the page icon to choose a gallery icon or upload your own custom icon.




Create a Push Notification

To send a Push notification you should access the "Push Notifications" function and select the "Messages" tab.




Then you should click on the "Add content" icon



You would then find the different adjustments for setting up the Push Notification:

- Title:Here you should place the item you want to show in the Push Notification when it is sent

- Message:Here you should place the message you want to send to users of your App.
Note that the maximum number of characters allowed is 255, including spaces

- Link to a custom function or URL:From here you could link the Push Notification to any of the sections of your app or to a web site.

- Insert an image:Here you could put an image for the Push Notification which should be 530px x 272px




Then click on the arrow icon to continue



You should then indicate the following:

- Objective specific devices:Here you should select which devices you wish to send the push notification, and you can choose between:
- Android and iOS
- iOS only
- Android only

You should also choose one of the following options:

- Send to all my users:If you select this option, the message would be sent to all users who have the App installed and accepted the sending of push notifications.

- Send to specific users:If you select this option, you may decide which user or users wish to send the push message specifically.
In order to use this option in your application, users must be registered in the system so that they can locate them

- Send to specific topics:If your application has the functionTopicsthen you could send the notification by segmenting the selections of topics indicated by the users.




Once you have completed this information you should press the arrow icon to continue



You should then indicate where you wish to send the notification and you can choose from these 2 options:

- Now:In a message it would be sent right now.



- On a specific date:Here you could set up that the push message is sent automatically on the specific day and time you set up.
You must bear in mind when sending the notification set up in Spain time zone



Once you have selected the shipping option, press the OK button to finish.
